McPake and I picked our team a few weeks ago, deciding the face painting opportunities were a lot better with the SeaHawks than with the Bronco's and also, who likes the Bronco's anyway? (If that doesn't show you just how little we know about American Football, you probably know less than we do).
We were refused entry at one door because the place was too full and we didn't have a stamp. A little worried, we walked round to the other entrance (we had no plan in mind, just sort of hoping we'd be allowed in). We met the nicest bouncer who gave us stamps anyway (thanks to a group of people's toilet break) and we were in!
The fullness was not an understatement and it took us 2 hours until we had a chair to sit on. One chair between three became one chair and one stool and that's how we sat until the end of the game. And what a game! It was no Ravens 2013 but wow, we sure have a knack for picking the right teams. We couldn't believe it!
We didn't get home until 3:30am or to sleep until past 4am. Needless to say, none of us made it to our morning lectures but each of us wants to do it again next year.
